I booked my stay several months in advance, and just one week prior to arrival, the hotel informed me about an ongoing renovation via email. While I appreciated the heads-up, the noise during the day was quite disruptive. Fortunately, I didn't spend much time in the room during daylight hours, so it wasn't a major issue for me personally. The room itself is compact and cozy, primarily suitable for sleeping rather than spending extended time indoors. Unfortunately, the hotel lacks a proper heating and cooling system. Despite multiple requests to the front desk for assistance in adjusting the air conditioning, no action was taken during my stay. For a short visit, the hotel is tolerable—especially given its excellent proximity to Oslo's main attractions and activities.

A wonderful place to stay, close to all the major sights in the city centre. The hotel has a lot of construction going on so it looks a little messy but the room itself, the reception area, and the staff were excellent. As others have mentioned, the breakfasts were truly outstanding.

Kurzer Weg zum Hafen ins Viertel Aker Bryyge. Der Gebäudekomplex in dem sich das Hotel befindet, wird renoviert. Wir hatten Glück und bekamen ein Zimmer mit Blick nach außen und nicht mit Blick ins Atrium nach innen zur Baustelle. Eine Info vorab über die Baustelle wäre gut gewesen. Sehr hoher Preis für eine Baustelle

Störande att ombyggnationer. Fick ingen förvarning när jag bokade att det skulle vara mycket störande ombyggnationer som pågår mellan 07-19 och att det skulle vara tyst mellan 21-07, dåligt! Vad som är värre är att de höll på till 22.30! Hotellet är annars mycket bra med bra skrivbords ytor för arbete. Frukost har tidigare varit extremt bra men nu. Ar det sämre med torrt bröd och ett mer begränsat urval,

The hotel is undergoing a large amount of building work with workmen all over the hotel indoors and out. The drilling and banging starts before 7am and continues until after 6pm on weekdays . Weekends are much quieter. So if you want a quiet holiday you will be disappointed. This seems to have been going on for a while and i think the hotel should contact people beforehand to give them a chance to cancel. I had to change room after the first night to opposite side of the hotel as the noise was horrendous. Reception area is also like a building site. Having said that the facilities and staff were fine ,although the gym is closed indefinitely and there was no wi fi in some rooms for 2 days of my stay in March. It is in a good location for transport around the city in a safe area. Ten minutes walk to the tram stop at Akker Brygg. Rooms are clean and housekeeping everyday. Breakfast was ok I think i would give this hotel 4/5 if not for the building work so just 2/5 .

Hotellet undergår en renovering hvilket gør der er støv på gangen og støj fra håndværkerne. Fitness var ligeledes lukket på grund af arbejdet.

Hotellet bar preg av at det er bygningsarbeid. En del tekniske utfordringer. Vemmelig lukt i heisene. Åpnet kanskje litt for tidlig med tanke på arbeidet som pågår i hele bygget. Personaler var fantastiske. Frokosten var god og hyggelige omgivelser i spisesal. Perfekt beliggenhet i Oslo.
