Reception staff reluctant to deal with guests. Room not cleaned at all (despite confirming we wanted cleaning). On the other yand, wonderful breakfast buffet with nice staff.

Could offer better quality

The booking system didn't work, they didn't respond to messages, we were tired from travelling and took 20min to check in. Not sure who is to blame, hotels.com or the hotel. Anyway, room request was sorted, but the sofa bed was quite awful. A a mattress topper is needed for it, as the mattress is too thin/old. Nice people at the front of house, nice gym, nice breakfast, but these two points make it pretty mediocre.

You Must Stay in this hotel

This hotel is superb! I would place it at the very high end of a 3 star hotel! To be honest I’m not sure why this is not a 4 star hotel. It’s was better than some of the 4 and 5 star hotels 🏨 I’ve stayed in e.g. the Sheraton Turkey. The breakfast is beyond excellent and it’s FREE! It’s 5min walk from a train line and the hotel is surrounded by a few cafes and convenience stores.

Clean, quiet, and comfortable. Very convenient to the train station and only two stops to Oslo S. Parking on site is very affordable and can be in/out as long as the hotel’s reserved spots are available. Local area is pretty dead after 5:00pm. Breakfast is good, but wish it had potatoes.

Great check-in. Helpful staff. An issue with our room that was looked after right away,. Good room cleaning/ linen . Terrific breakfast. All amenities either in room or available. One thing I would say is, when you leave your room check to make sure your door locks.
