「This place was clean, quiet, and safe, and is in a pretty setting near/on estate lands. Very convenient from the highway for access to local tourist spots and Shannon Airport. The hotel is super large and sprawling. It seems to be very popular with young families. At our Expedia rate it was pretty basic in terms of amenities. We took a look at the breakfast, which wasn't included in our rate, and it also seemed basic, so we gave it a pass. Great local bakeries and other spots to choose from...

「I cannot say enough about how good My stay was. Staff were by far the best I have ever seen. Hotel and the room were spotless. Every Morning I had a traditional Irish Breakfast which was delicious. Unfortunately, there was Heatwave when I arrived 30c which even for an American from New Jersey is Hot. I would have been and Idiot If I had expected air conditioning due to the fact temps like that are extremally rare and if they happen at all it would only be a few days every summer. But they did...

「We spent our last night in Ireland at the CarryGerry Country House. It is located within 15 minutes of the Shannon Airport and is in a picturesque setting (cows grazing in a field, narrow country roads). The venue itself was a disappointment, while picturesque, the actual building and accommodation seemed worn and outdated. The breakfast was fine, but we had better at smaller B&Bs. Except for the proximity to the airport, we did not find this to be a good value.」
