「The staff and amenities were great! Breakfast was hot and well stocked! We enjoy the pool alone twice on our trip. Only down side was our room was not very clean, stains on the sheets, shower and floor were dirty and it smelled a little bit. We also did not use the WiFi due to having to make an account but that was our choice.」

「We always wanted to stay here and now we have! The views and campus were absolutely beautiful and the food was delicious. The room was quaint but not sure worth the luxury price. Air conditioner was a little loud which I guess helped quiet the talking at the bar since our room was close to it. Ice machine was outside and there is no elevator if you are older and need that. 「The property is super cute but the AC was not the best and the toilet had a very weak flush. The property is located in a very good area you can walk to uptown blowing rock」

「Location to Grandfather Mountain was great. A/C was great. Kitchen does not have some basic utensils and is not fully supplied (as advertised) - fortunately there is a Food Lion nearby where we bought what should have been supplied. Sofa and chairs did not feel clean and we put a sheet over the sofa. Beds and bed linens were good and clean. But, great place to have a family get-together to attend the nearby Highland Games at Grandfather Mountain.」

「We stay at Marriotts hotels for the reliable service and comfortable beds. This stay was disappointing in that the bed was the reason we left early. Very uncomfortable bed. We also were surprised to see that house keeping service was on an every other day schedule. Definitely not what we are used to from Marriott.」
