"Great place to stay. The staffs are amazing and extremely accommodating. Nuod is a great host and great resource for information e.g. activities and tours. The place is very clean, convenient to center of the town, extremely comfortable and offers good food. They filter their ice and water enabling us to drink the water, cocktails and most specially our fave, mango shake. They even allowed us to have a late check out since we took a late flight. I highly recommend and will definitely be our go to when we return to El Nido."

"The staff were polite if far from welcoming. Our first rooms bathroom had algae and mold growing in the grout between the tiles and there was no working lock on the door. Our second night on arriving back to our ro ww discovered our room infested with large flying ants that had come through a cieling vent. We were given a second slightly cleaner room however the bathroom shower was still disgracefully dirty and the shower head did not work added to which there was no hot water as they "had run out". Even budget hotels require baseline standards. This was one of my worst hotel experiences in Elnido."

"It was an amazing trip and stayed at Doublegem for 3 days and 2 nights. The staff are very helpful and organized. We love the breakfast as well As we are all excited to be the first in line As we read the other Reviews that the breakfast are no good but actually its the best. It’s combination of local Philippines food and typical international breakfast food which is fabulous. My family really enjoyed and so am i with our stayed at this place. We also love the infinity pool which we really enjoyed as well after our day tour into The beaches. Highly recommended will definitely stayed to this place again in the future. The staff are very helpful "

"Positives: Breakfast was good, room was clean and new, the distance from the city center was only a 10 minute walk, hotel was a great value. Negatives: Rooms were tiny, no fridge in the room which is unusual for the Philippines, rooms were poorly insulated for noise. I heard street noise at night despite being 4th floor away from the street, and we were woken up by neighboring guests before 6am talking and geting coffee,"

"We stayed here with our 8-month-old baby, and the staff absolutely loved her! We had a room on the bottom floor, which worked great with the stroller; however, the hotel isn't accessible, meaning you need to use the stairs to get around the hotel, which was a bit annoying with the stroller but doable for us. Also, there are paving slabs to the rooms on the bottom floor, which isn't so stroller friendly. The room itself was lovely! There was a bit of a weird smell in the bathroom area—but you kind of got used to this. They provided a baby cot as well, which was great. The mini bar is well priced; you need to call to get this restocked. The housekeeping to tidy the room daily came late afternoon (4/5pm) which was a little annoying as it's when our baby napped. Staff are wonderful here. It was my birthday, and they had made a display on the bed for when we arrived, complete with a slice of chocolate cake! That was so unexpected and such a nice touch! On my actual birthday too, they did the same with the towels and leaf writing. The breakfast was ok too; there was an omelette station, which we used most days. The service for lunch is a bit slow—whether you're eating in the restaurant or on the beds. They often don't have some things, so prepare a backup option! But the lunch food is good and well made. The pool is lovely; the water isn't as crystal clear as I would have expected, but we swam in it no problem. The pool area is small, but we were never unable to get a bed. "

"My friend and I really enjoyed our stay here. The family bungalow was cute. It would’ve been helpful to have some wall hooks for hanging wet items and more counter space for our personal things. The food was fabulous! The staff were amazing! The location in Corong Corong was perfect as it was a short ride from town and we were picked up close by for our boat tours with APE TOURS. 😊"
