「Found hair in the shower, which was totally gross and not sanitary at all. To make matters worse, there wasn't even a complimentary breakfast, which is a bummer. The staff seemed pretty checked out, I even saw one of them sleeping! Definitely not the experience I was hoping for.」

「There is no lake view in a room that said it was lake view. It was clean. The king-size bed was beyond terrible. It was like 2 twins pushed together with a very lumpy mattress topper. No closet. Very tiny room. The hand sink was in the bedroom. The house was built in 1883, if it had been haunted it might have been worth the $250. It was neither haunted or worth the $250. 」

「The rooms are on the small side but beautifully remodeled. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, knowledgeable and efficient. The grounds are impeccable and the outside amenities are second to none. And the location - is doesn’t get any better than lakeside in southwest Michigan, period!」
