「Peggy was VERY helpful, by providing information in the room for Groundhog Day. Her communication was thoughtful (providing check-in information, a hand-drawn map of the surrounding streets and highlighting the parking, and a list of local restaurants in Clearfield). There was a kitchen and full-sized refrigerator, as well as soda / candy / chips available to purchase on the honor system (it was good for my kids to see that). This was beyond perfect, and I couldn't recommend it more. 」

「My wife and I had a wonderful two night stay at the Keller House. Very clean B&B with comfortable beds, excellent breakfasts and very friendly hosts. Highly recommend staying there if you don't mind being about twenty minutes from State College.」

「I had wonderful stay when I went for a Penn State football weekend. It was so homey and Connie and Steve were such great hosts I felt like I was staying with family. The coffee tray outside the room in the morning was a great touch, and the Crème Brûlée French toast (and perfectly crispy bacon) for breakfast was out of this world! I appreciated being an easy drive from the University while away from the hustle and bustle and much more reasonably priced than anything in State College. Thanks also...

「Very clean and open interior」

「I stay here regularly and it was the same generally positive experience as always. But twice in my week long stay the room wasn't cleaned (once when I explicetly left to make that easy). The resteraunt was also a mixed bag. One lunch I ordered was so small (appetizer size) I said "that isn't lunch". Shrinkflation gone wild. They comped me that lunch but really?」

「A beautiful inn! We stopped while driving north for Christmas and had such a nice stay. The inn was decorated from top to bottom! We had a great sitting room with a fire running when we arrived. Also, there is a charming town within. A quick walk. We saw beautiful homes, had a great dinner and even found Santa in his hut on the street! The breakfast was nice and we enjoyed ourselves so much!!!」

「Room number 7 is very big and met our needs entirely. I only wish I could have adapted the room temperatureto our needs. I did not try to open the windows. I was afraid to try to open the windows, since it's a very old property, but I wish I could have had some fresh air. A wonderful large bar of lavender soap was in the room, and it helped to scent the room. Also a very cute dish of chocolates was waiting for us. 「We travel to Altoona frequently for family and always stay at this hotel. Comfortable, quiet, and clean. 」

「The service here is amazing. The staff is so friendly. The restaurant is nice and the pool was huge. The only issue we had was that different people at the restaurant applied the kids eat free differently. They need a cohesive policy. 」

「Super fast check in - friendly clerk. I didn't get her name, but she welcomed us and let us know there was a large group of middle schoolers at the hotel too. If there was any noise after 10 pm we should let her know. There was none, but I appreciated her giving us the heads up when checking in.」
