「The Retreat is gorgeous. The views of the Volcano and Lake are amazing. The pescatarian menu is perfect for vegetarians and pescatarians. All three meals are served. We did not have meals included but very much enjoyed dinner and breakfast there. The pocket sized gathering places are charming - slider over looking lake, dining room and reception, the separate lounge area with tea and coffee looking into the jungle. The evening walk was fun. The property is on the top of a very steep hill...

「The property itself is beautiful and well maintained. I really enjoyed the trails and bird watching tower. Everyone on staff was amazing as well. Reception was so helpful in planning my itinerary and arranging transportation. The on site tour guides were knowledgeable and passionate about their work. 「We had a wonderful 3-night stay at Oro Verde! Everything was in excellent condition and the place is very well-maintained. We loved the fact that when we arrived the property had a nice pool that we weren’t expecting, so it was a great surprise! The property is located in a quiet and peaceful area surrounded by nature and at the same time the location is incredibly convenient, just 15-minute drive to La Fortuna. Our experience was great from start to finish!」

We were in the middle of the wilderness, with birds and sloths on site, but still had room service/clean up and buffet style breakfast and a pool! Absolutely recommend. good distance to all the sites/activity but far enough from the tourist trap that is la fortuna!」
