"A stay at the Vue Grand Hilltop is a wonderful experience. As the name suggests you'll enjoy great views over the neighboring islands and you can actually watch the sunrise from your bed. All the bungalows are built in traditional style, all wood and with great natural ventilation. Not having air-con was never a problem.
But it's not only about the views, it's also about the person who built and runs the hotel. Michael welcomes you like a long lost friend and there is a good chance you'll...
"Overall, you get a lot for your money with breakfast included. Sleeping in a tent is obviously very simple accomondation which we expected but what really surprised us was the loud people around us making noise until 3 in the morning. For a place like this we really expected some peace and quiet and at least a rule that says that it should be quiet after a certain time. Its really a shame that this ruined our nights here so we had to leave one day earlier. The owner payed us back for that night...
"Absolutely peaceful. Cabins are very comfortable. With the nice breeze blowing through, i slept very well. The staff, the food and the place is very accommodating. Highly recommended."
"I called the hotel several times on the arrival date but no answer, we end up getting a different hotel.
And this is a really really bad experience in the middle of no where."
"Staff! Rhan, Al, and Rica phenomenal!! All very helpful with whatever questions I had. Great recommendations of tours, beaches, and restaurants. Very courteous and nice! Although every Philippino I met seem to be very nice and helpful. Highly recommend the Rockinnest. Super cool boutique hotel! Rooms are very unique and cool! Pricing seem to be competitive with other similar hotels. Location is perfect! Whole little town is walkable and the Rockinnest is perfectly located. Breakfast included!...
"Our stay was brief but fantastic. Matt and his family and staff are so friendly and accommodating. Waking up to the sounds of nature rather than in town motorbikes and cars was exactly what we hoped for. Wish we could have stayed longer! "
"We loved the location of the property and the view is amazing. Our room was really spacious and very comfortable. It could do with a little updating, but it didn't spoil our stay at all. "

We used Elsa's travel and she had the most incredible crew which include lucky as the tour guide and you could do amazing private tours and they will take you to the places that are less crowded and then hit the spots you want to see after the big crush of the tours are gone.

The hostel is a little far out but don't let you put that off as its right next to Vanilla beach which is lovely and you can see the glorious sunset which isn't visible in most areas of El Nido due to the landscape. Rent a scooter from town 1/2 price

We loved El Nido, although it is more touristy than other destinations in the country. Staying in Corong Corong beach helped to escape the crowds and was just a short trycicle drive to town.

It has its own small town charm. Our hotel could benefit from an outdoor rinsing/shower station. The locals were very sweet and friendly. I just wished there were more Filipino-owned establishments.

This was my 2nd visit to El Nido and will definitely return. Tours A is the best but they're all breathtaking, really. All tours can be purchased in the lobby.

El Nido, would love to have had more time to explore the area and try some of the other water sports! Will have to come back.
"Karuna has breathtaking views, simply beautiful. Dining in their restaurant is an experience itself, the food is delicious, the staff is very friendly and attentive, a wonderful reminder of how proud I am to be of Filipino heritage. The service is very professional and prompt. The pathways have an inline since it’s located in the mountain so if you are unable to physically walk up and down it may not be suitable but if you have no physical limitations then look no further, this place will be amazing!"
"Amazing place, perfect combination of resort and nature. Most amazing customer service, world class. From the time you arrive at the airport in Lio, up to the time you board the plane from Lio airport, the team is focused on providing a seamless experience. Highly recommended. "
"I enjoyed staying here, the view was amazing and the place was just unique. Breakfast was one of my favorite things about this place, stuff is very respectful, friendly and welcoming. "
