"I booked and I had room B111 pool side only problem was I would not get in the pool because it was unhealthy in my opinion algee on the pools walls and the waiter was green. The pool by the bar was very clean and attractive, but that was not the one that joined my room. Other than that I enjoyed my stay. Hope you correct this for your future tenants. "Some of the reviews were very dramatic, and frankly not a reflection of the experience I had at Golden Monkey. I loved the rooms, decor, bar (albeit intermittently attended), hammock and quick access to the beach. I would recommend taking a separate tricycles if you have anymore than two people and bags, otherwise your third will have to jump off during the narrow streets to the hotel!
