Comfort Suites Anchorage International Airport

Comfort Suites Anchorage International Airport

8/10 Good
"Situated a mere few minute drive from the small plane airport, the Comfort Suites is perfectly located for travelers planning to fly to the more remote regions of Alaska. With a shuttle from the airport (call when you land and they'll send the van) and daily breakfast, you're basically set. They also have two washers and two dryers, so you can pack less clothing and just do laundry. The hotel is also walking distance from The Lakefront Hotel, which has a great restaurnt with outside seating (fun to have the float planes make their approach right over your head!). There is a Subway and a Mexican restaurant as well. There is also a place to get lattes/mochas/etc, located in a cannabis store (!) just a short walk away. One thing: If you plan to catch fish and bring them home with you, the Comfort Suites does not have frozen storage. You'll have to work that out on your own - we used Nick with AK Trophy, who has reasonable prices and packs the fish so it's check-on ready."
