"This place was great! Would recommend to anyone, the concierge on staff spoke great English, they had great food recommendations, breakfast and coffee in the morning was awesome! The villa is about 2 min from the bus stop (walking), which made things very easy to not need a car. "I can't really give an accurate rating, since we basically checked in and slept until our shuttle to the airport. However, the grounds looked nice and well kept. The hotel serves snacks and breakfast. They have a 15 euro shuttle that will pick you up at the airport. You can also schedule a shuttle to the airport; ours was at 3 AM and the driver was right on time. They had a shuttle to the hotel restaurant as well. I'm not sure it would be ideal for visiting Venice. It's not near public...

"When I asked the hotel how to find it from the water taxi, the instructions started with "walk through the clock tower"...and that's where the fairy tale began. This hotel is tucked away in the gorgeous alleys behind Santo Marco. The setting is stunning, and the customer service at this hotel is top notch. As soon as we stepped inside a valet whisked away our bags, they recommended excellent restaurants steps away, and offered a complimentary private boat tour to Murano (DO THIS!). They remembered us by face every time we stopped to grab our room key. I cannot recommend this hotel more highly. They also arranged for a private water taxi back to the train station (this might be the best $50 I ever spent...so much better than tackling the public water taxi with heavy luggage as we did on the way there). 10/10 across the board!"
