"On the same street as Wyndham Sun Moon Lake, but cost 10x less. Good for 1-2nights stay. Clean place with private, lockable cabins, and very near the ITA Thao shopping street and pier. You can walk along the lake to the cable car station and the Nine Frogs Stack 九蛙疊像. Hotel provided complimentary fireflies watching as it happened to be fireflies mating season. It’s just a short walk to get public bus to Taichung HSR station and catching ferry at pier. There’s free 2 hours bicycle rental. If you are there on non peak season, they can allow u to use it for a couple hours. "

"Alishan is an amazing area. The hotel was very, very nice. It was great that breakfast and dinner were provided since there are not a lot of choices within the recreation area itself. The hotel had walking trails directly across from it and views from the rooftop decks. They offered reservations, transportation, and wake up calls for us to take the Sunrise Train. Appreciate all of that."
