"extraordinary japanese inn sprawled across the mountainside - the place goes back 400 years. hard to say which is more impressive - the traditional japanese buildings or the beautiful garden that links them. the views of the city and the surrounding mountains are stunning, and breakfast - all 12 courses - is not to be missed."

We stayed a different hotel in Takamatsu earlier of the trip and we felt that we should have stayed here instead. The service are excellent as all staff are trained well. The Superb breakfast!
