"One word to describe the property: Serene. The various gardens and our tatami Japanese style room really elevated our start. The staff were extremely helpful and kind. They went out of their ways to accommodate my aunt’s request for some freezer space for her mochi. They also arranged a larger taxi to accommodate our luggages. The train station was only 5 mins walk from the hotel. I will definitely be back. Thank you. "

"We stayed with our 8 year old in a bunk bed style bed. Great decision. The bunk bed has individual lighting to our son could sleep on the top while we had some light on our level. The hotel has very small rooms with a tiny capsule style bathrooms. "I found there’s another kanakas hotel nearby, named karaksa hotel colors. It was very noticeable from the limousine bus on the way. It was a terrible experience to look for the original karaksa with heavy trunks. Otherwise it was very convenient, clean and comfortable . I would like to thank to the kind staffs."

"First off, staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was ideal and close to essential tourist subways. Excellent coffee served there. Only two negatives was, checks ins could be anytime of the day or night. Which really left me exhausted the night before leaving japan and on other days. . And a problem I noted in a previous hostel, pillows can't be washed so previous sweat stains evident from previous guests, when you sweat, the smell is released. So sorry as the place was great. "

"I knew the room would be small and brought only a trolly and couldn't even open it properly. The location was great, just by the river and very close to 2 subway lines.
