"Great older hotel with nice decor and bar in convenient location near Washington square park. Room was small but I was aware of that and it suited our needs. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was a good size with a nice shower. The only small issue was that we could not control the air conditioner on either ac or fan mode so it was a little warmer than we would have preferred. "

"Loved the location. Close to the subway and Murray’s Bagels was right around the corner. It was the perfect quick breakfast spot. Happy Hour in the lobby was lively. The room was cozy, super quiet and really beautiful. We’ll be back!!!"

I imagine it was a great spot before this started but it’s far from inviting at the entrance and only until you get off the elevator is it truly what you see in the photos, covered by plastic. Nothing bad, and the construction was only during the week and thankfully I stayed Saturday night, BUT the notice of construction is only sent to you after booking. "
