"Very close to beach and boardwalk. Room shower curtain smelled like it hadnt been washed in ages. No room service was given in our stay, trash bags were non existent, but overall room was clean and we had a great trip."

"Room was clean and orderly, staff were friendly and accommodating, continental breakfast was a nice touch. Being close to the Boardwalk was nice and convenient. Location was directly across from the Trop, so the street noise was as expected and beyond the hotel's control. Overall, it was a good place to stay for the price they offered. If you don't mind a longer walk to the main Boardwalk attractions (Steel Pier and other casinos), then this hotel is worth it."

"This was our first visit to La Mer, our room was beautiful, everything was like new, all beautiful tile in the bathroom. Furniture in our room was very comfortable and new, our bed also was very comfortable. From all marble and full-size fridge and freezer in kitchen area. The grounds are full of flowers, beautiful new pool area, short walk to the beach also providing towels, chairs, umbrellas and also a beach pass for out stay. Location, Location, Location, very nice quite area, made it great...

"You can’t get a cup of coffee in the morning and either have to wait for the restaurant to open or go somewhere else. The one front desk staff person was rude and abrupt. It’s a great location. Some of the room design features are odd - can’t open the bathroom door all the way or the stair handrail is up against the wall so you can’t use it. "
