Room rates reflect the current condition of the hotel, however. So, travelers probably know what to expect. Close to the station and appropriate for Japanese business travelers but not foreign tourists, I think."

"This is a 130 year old building, with beautiful woodwork. It is still run by descendants of the original builder. It is quite well maintained, and has modern amenities that have been added. If you want a genuine experience, this is it."

"I like to stay at these adult hotels because you usually end up with more space for the money, Fine Stay was as expected here. Service was good old Japanese style, though mentioning that no cleaning for the day but asking for coffee and new towels did not work. Would have given a higher rating except that the tv in the bathroom, the light and control in the jacuzzi was broken. Also, the tv remote never worked reliaby and always reset to maxiumn volume at the beginning of each day. Otherwise if...

"Rooms are big by Japanese accommodation standards and so are the bathrooms. The culture shock of entering a love hotel is soon forgotten but subtle reminders like the lack of wifi and available TV usage remain. Overall very relaxing to stay in."
