Local hotel staff very friendly. The breakfast buffet included many options for most tastes. The hotel also has a public onsen available to guests looking for a more authentic experience."

"The property is nice - good sized rooms with a kitchen. Great onsen looking at the mountain. Great breakfast, and good dinner (although we were the only two people in the whole place!). Very far from resorts and restaurants. limited shuttle service from hotel, and had several instances of no taxis being available. Not a knock on the hotel, but know you are secluded. I will stay in Grand Hirafu next time."

"A lot of cafe or restaurant around the hotel were closed. The hotel is a bit noisy : you can hear kids running when they are in the room above yours, in the corridor. It's not well sound proof. The hotel staff was excellent. The fireplace is amazing"
