"まず、ご飯が1泊２食付きと書かれていたので、鶏鍋やすき焼きなどが選べると思ったら、強制的に鶏鍋の予約になっていた。 結局アップグレードして（一人2000円追加）すき焼きにしたが…びっくりする位量が少ない!! ハチ北の他の宿に泊まってすき焼きを食べたときの半分ほどのお肉しかなかった。（画像で3人分です他にはご飯しかありません。） そしてお肉が硬かった。 あれは本当に但馬牛でしょうか…？ きっと但馬牛でもかなり安い部位なんだろうな…。 これでは楽天とかの方が安いので損をした気分です。 あと、卓球などができる憩いスペースがあったんですが、こちらにあるコタツ、ストーブ（コンセントが抜かれていて届く場所にない） 使わせる気がないなら、置くべきでは無いのでは？ 体脂肪率や筋肉量を測れる高い機械があります！！と部屋にあるパンフレットに記載があったが故障中。そもそもプリント用紙が入ってないので使わせる気がない。 これ、本当にハチ北で1番良い宿と言われるひさ屋でしょうか？ 客層も20代半ば位の若い子が多くて… 少しガッカリでした。 もう泊まりません。"

"Rokkosan Hotel is located high above the mountain and offers a beautiful view of Kobe. My wife and I used the free shuttle bus service from the airport. The historical property is a little dated, but that is on the other hand posesses old style charm that is pleasing. We enjoyed the professional service and particularly appreciated the kind sendoff by staff at departure. It is unfortunate that the hotel is scheduled to close at year end."

The food was EXCELLENT. The outdoor onsen was my fave. I would stay here again despite the smokey room - just make sure you request a non-smoking room!"

"We were told the rooms are all smoking room. The cigarette smell was strong in our room so that was something we don’t really appreciate. The onsen facility was ok. The best was the one shared with the hotel next door."

"The hotel was beautiful with all the amenities you could need. This was our first time in a traditional Japanese style room and it was such a fun experience. The onsens were great and the reservation system easy to use. Dining was special and we loved the food. Getting to do a little laundry in their facilities was an added bonus. Staff was eager to help and made us feel welcome and comfortable the entire stay."

"It's our first time at an onsen ryokan, and overall it was a very pleasant stay! The receptionist that greeted us spoke English well and was very clear at explaining the facilities and answering any questions we had.
