"The staff was pleasant and professional. The property was walking distance to the National Gallery of Art (our primary destination), excellent restaurants and the Metro. Our room had no view, the bathroom was tiny (hard to exit) and our shower was missing half the sliding door. By design? If so, never seen that before. Excellent in- room coffee and the hotel cafe food was also excellent."

"The staff was marvelous and took excellent care of us. They accommodated an early check in request- we had arrived on a red eye flight and were exhausted. The room was beautiful, clean, cool, and quiet. The concierge was great with directions and providing local information. The laundry was so kind and helpful. "This hotel is beautiful. But I had a better experience in the New York Location. For my birthday they set up a complimentary plate of chocolate covered strawberries to wish me a Happy Birthday. This hotel didn't do anything for daughter’s birthday. I mentioned it when I did my reservation. The room was nice not what I was hoping for. I guess I didn't pay as much as others. "

"Check-in was seamless even though we arrived several hours early. The staff was wonderfully attentive, but unobtrusive at the same time. The hotel is small, but charming and located in a great area with many restaurants and fabulous shops nearby."
