"The Plaza is of course iconic. The building is very old so not everything is spotless. Old curtains get stuck; light interruptors sometimes fail, etc. The staff is not the most friendly - they have some attitude. But if you show the money, you can have the time of your life. "What an amazing little hotel. Gentle, friendly service, classy but not snobby, quality through and through. I cant thank the staff enough for their service and we will be back. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough and so convenient for everything too. "

"Expensive but worth it. Two adults & 2 younger kids. We got a one bedroom suite that was HUGE. Most of the reasonably priced rooms in the city are the size of shoe boxes. NOTE: though they list that the room sleeps 4 , it doesn’t without rollaways. But the rooms are so big that the rollaways fit no problem. Bed was comfy. Room was quiet-never heard neighbors above, below, or to the sides. Usual NYC noise on the street at all hours but not bad with a white noise machine. Ask for a higher...

"The breakfast inclusion and hours of indulgence at the end of the day, was excellent. So much variety in the food and beverages and plenty for everyone. The staff were all excellent. Located next to the subway, close walk to Central Park and far enough away from Times Square to be quiet but also easy enough to walk back from Broadway shows at night. I highly recommend Westhouse and would stay there again."

"We chose the St.Regis for its famous lobby and bar and classic charm. We were not told until just before our arrival that the lobby was being renovated and off limits and the bar and restaurant were closed. We understand those are being modernized and the beautiful rooms will also be modernized. Exactly what we do not want, so we will not return."
