"Hotel undergoing renovations so check in was difficult for disabled guests as no wheelchair access. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful . Lots of parking available for free and very handy for York central and racecourse. "

"A lovely property and really quirky. I stayed for one night and found it to be very welcoming. The breakfast was great and they had a veggie option. Stayed in room 2 that had a private bathroom outside the room but it was very well equipped and is only for the room, robes are provided and it’s close to the room so wasn’t a problem for me at all. Thank for a lovely stay. "

"I was very happy with the hotel and staff. room was perfectly adequate with plenty of tea and milk, something lacking in other places iv stayed, very clean all around the hotel, always greeted by any member of staff with a hello at any time of passing. The biggest plus was the price, £40 or £50 cheaper than any similar standard place within a long distance. Excellent effort and nice to have stayed there. "
