"Property and rooms are beautiful and the pantry with snacks was handy with a toddler! Our room unfortunately had a leak through the ceiling on the first night, and all staff were amazing helping us sort it (thankfully we didnt need to move rooms). The girls on reception and manager were all welcoming, couldn't recommend the hotel enough. We will be staying again on our next visit!"

"Stayed at the city guest for a city break. The location was great just a short walk from the Minster and the city centre. The room we stayed in was small but very homely. It was comfortable and clean. It was also the small touches that were nice, with chocolates and a bottle of water supplied every day. The couple who run the guest house were very friendly and breakfast was cooked to order. They also gave us a city guide map and offered advice about places to visit. Overall it was a very good...

"The property was in a great location that gave the opportunity to walk into the city or take a bus from outside the property. The property is on the is older but in great condition and the facilities were average for such a property. The staff were friendly and happy to share local knowledge along with their thoughts about venues to visit along with places to eat. "Excellent location. Only issue was lack of food available on the second evening due to staff shortages. ( not really what you want to hear when you are hungry). The bathroom was lovely, however it was a little high to climb into the shower, bath and someone who was suffering with a bad a leg found it hard going, also getting out of the bath/shower there was no hand rail to support.
