I was supposed to get a mail delivered at the hotel and they tried their best to keep looking for my mail. It was really helpful for them to do so. The hotel room is clean and spacious. "Good: The hotel is well located and impressive in its public areas. All the staff are friendly and polite The breakfast is very good Not so good: The room itself was not too impressive. The room was stuffy, safe didn’t work, and the shower was a trickle. Overall location 10 out of 10 so if you are out and about exploring York all day and arriving/departing by train it would be good choice. If you want to relax in your room then I would recommend a different room category or another hotel. "
