「老飯店一家，沒lift，我分幾次把三個行李箱抬到2nd floor（就是3樓），已經很熱，飯店室內都是封閉式的，窗不開，沒冷氣，我走到3樓已經開始缺氧，頭暈，進到房間，當然也是沒冷氣，開始傻眼，房間有一個窗，只有上面一條小縫隙可以打開，打開後外面的惡臭味全部飄進來，外面估計是養羊養牛或者種植什麼，不會有下次再來到這家飯店，送的也不來。」

「Good: The hotel is well located and impressive in its public areas. All the staff are friendly and polite The breakfast is very good Not so good: The room itself was not too impressive. The room was stuffy, safe didn’t work, and the shower was a trickle. Overall location 10 out of 10 so if you are out and about exploring York all day and arriving/departing by train it would be good choice. If you want to relax in your room then I would recommend a different room category or another hotel. 」

「This is a quaint old style Bed and Breakfast, without modern amenities There are many stairs to the rooms with multiple landings and no lift. Not suitable for the mobility impaired. The single room I had was small and very hot ( in the eaves and one small skylight), but there was a fan in the room that helped quite a bit. Staff very friendly and a good breakfast. Pleasant enough, even with the stairs. 」
