「Hotel is nice my only negative is that they don’t except cash anywhere in the hotel not at checkout not in restaurant and not even in the bar. We had a family room on the top floor which was big bright & spacious shower was very good plenty hot water. We had bottles of water biscuits tea coffee milk kettle ironing board. Couldn’t fault our room. Breakfast was excellent lots of cereals yogurts fresh fruits etc plus the usual bacon eggs sausage etc.」

「Lovely place to stay if you have a vehicle but it is a bit far to get into downtown Alnwick and the Castle and Gardens. It is about a 30 minute walk. Uber and cabs are dicey at best. We took the bus, but it only runs hourly. Restaurant was great with a good breakfast that was included. Rooms are nice, but no fridge. The staff we interacted with were very friendly.」

「An old castle in England, what more do you want. The staff were very attentive and very pleasant. Even with a fire alarm in the middle of the night (false alarm) they were pleasant and helpful. The food was amazing both for dinner and for breakfast.」

「It was a pleasant stay after visiting Alnwick Gardens. The room was about average size but walk up on third floor. The room was clean and as usual air conditioning was provided by opening the window. Parking is available but not for the faint of heart if you are not used to driving in the UK. The worst hotel stay in the entire trip
"Extremely poor service and stay. We were given a smaller room than we had asked for (images do not match the actual state of the room), and the air conditioner is broken; we were provided with fans but we do not have proper ventilation in our room, causing the room to be very hot and stuffy, and after taking a shower the room becomes very damp. Television does not work, and the fans aren't very good. There are also insect stains on the bedding. Service is misleading, we were told that our check out was at noon however we were urged to leave as soon as 11am came by, asking to charge us for overstaying in the hotel. Our belongings were held at the lobby as well because of this, and the staff were reluctant to return our belongings. Extremely disappointed at the service and conditions of the hotel, will not recommend it to anyone."
