「Fond Doux felt like a safe haven on an otherwise rough island. Our cottage was cute and clean, the grounds were very pretty and we enjoyed exploring the property. The chocolate making tour is not to be missed. Much of the staff, however is not particularly friendly or efficient. Service at the restaurants eas very slow and unreliable (none seemed to open at the times they said they would) and even though you may be the only ones dining or drinking at the moment, don't expect speedy service. 「While this property may be a bit older, the apartment style rooms and building set up was great. The pool and bar on the property were very nice. You were right on the beach and the Passions restaurant, bar and staff were really top notch. The beach is stunning and the palapas with beach chairs were awesome. 」

「Azul is a pretty hotel, but there’s room for improvement. I upgraded from a standard “motel” type room to the swim up room on the “prestige”side and was not disappointed. Although the pools were dirty most times, the beach was quite relaxing. They really should upgrade their pillows and pillow tops in the cabana area. I noticed both rooms could use a bit of a deep cleaning such as the toilet bowls and shower head area. Food options were amazing! Plenty of restaurants to choose from. The...

「This property offers various activities so there is no need to leave every day. Also, it is right ON the beach. The lunch time dining experience needs some attention though. On two occasions the wait time for a meal took an hour. 」
