「One of the messages from the property didn't come through, the one that gave decent directions. Several places en route looked like they were the property. It took a while, but we eventually found it. Apparently there's a kitchen on site, but we only found one in the hostel across the street? Had a hard time finding the switch to turn on the hot water, I tried messaging the property, but it was late and I never got a response. The switch was pretty big by the showers, I probably missed it since...

「Service is good, breakfast is excellent. Wifi is slow and disconnect every 5 mins. Due the night time between 1700-2130. It is because, they share with the pub and restaurant guest wifi. When you showers the water sometimes hot and cold. The room is nice.Easy to park.」

「Everything was good! Unfortunately, the security guard has a loophole, and there is no staff! Everyone can enter and exit!」

「Excellent country house hotel in very small rural quiet hamlet. Greeted by the 2 very friendly springer spaniels. Very comfortable and cosy hotel. Only drawback no tvs in hotel at all either in room or resident lounge. No menu was chef dish on the night. You may be kept awake by the cow in the field opposite who sounded more like a donkey!!」

「It is quite a small room with one single bed and a bunk bed. The lower bunk bed is too narrow and the height between the two decks is too short. I cannot sit up on it. I have to crawl into the bed and slip out of it every time. So you can imagine the feeling when you sleep on the lower bunk bed and the upper bed is so close to your face. It is really the hostel facilities but the rate is close to a hotel or even more expensive than many of them. 」

「If only the owners would listen to the customer feedback from previous guests! All the same niggling issues stop this from getting g a 5 star rating. Dirty pots and pans, a central heating system that needed to be rebooted constantly, poor level of cleaning generally, all have been commented on by previous guests!」

「A fabulous place to stay, quiet and peaceful. The owners are very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The atmosphere inside and outside of the house is like out of a fairytale where nature and wildlife are in harmony with the house. During our stay we've seen deers in the garden and some very friendly cockerels. The lake is at a short walking distance away. Sadly we only stayed one night, but we'll happily return. 」
