「It was a nice hotel and service is generally very good. Felt like northern hospitality. Like how they don't charge service charge as standard on things like restaurant service. Rooms are quite spacious but views could be better. No mini fridge and no slippers as standard which I found surprising for a 5* hotel. Disappointed Bertams restaurant was closed when we visited so only had 2 options available. The setting is secluded which is very nice. Breakfast was OK...pretty standard but not...

The changing area is under renovation so was a bit confusing on how to get to the pool after changing but I am sure it will be great once completed. "This is the worse experience in this hotel. It was noisy all night. The staff knocked my door at 10pm while i was sleeping and asking me whether i am showing with lots of water on the floor because downstair is leaking. I am sorry but i think the crack on the bathroom wall caused this problem thousands of times before. It was not my fault, i finished my shower 30mins ago and the bathroom has no water on the floor"
