We booked this hotel in part because there was an on-site restaurant. We found out when checking in that the restaurant was closed for remodel. It would have been helpful to know this at booking

It’s a quiet town in the winter and most businesses are closed. The supermarket around the block remained open and we were able to get most of the things we needed there.
