Sensui Island Ski Vacations

Great location with easy access to everywhere, about 30 mins walk from the main hiroshima station and 15 mins tops from the atomic bomb site and memorial Park, also right next to the shopping areas. Plenty of hotel amenities available in the reception area which you were free to take, but we didn't. Room was a good size fror Japan with a bed and some furniture. The furniture was a bit chipped, but room was otherwise spotless and a great place for a couple of nights. Bed was probably a bit too firm for us , but some people like a firm bed, and if that's you then it would be no trouble. Overall nice hotel, great location, would stay again on a return trip to Hiroshima!

The hotel reception is very spacious and grand but our room (which had a superb view of the castle), was very dated and in much need of a renovation. The furniture was old and dark brown, the carpet looked grubby and the bathroom had a coloured suite, thin towels and a shower over the bath. Everything worked to be fair, hairdryer, shower pressure etc but the room looked very tired. Major issue with the cost of using the swimming pool which worked out at around £22 per person in September 2026 which is extortionate and unsurprisingly the pool had only one swimmer when we looked in. In addition we were offered a VIP access perk of a free drink per person but the bar was closed when we went with our tickets despite being within the advertised opening hours, so no free drink after all.
