「Read some negative comments from various hotels booking website, have struggled to book it or not, but there are not really many hotels / ryokans in Onomichi. Anyway, the reality is, starting from the check in till check out, we are very satisfied and amazed. We need to give it a fair comment to support the staff there.

However the cafe closed early, the ice cream machine wasn't working and the rooftop bar was closed. The property had dust bunnies throughout and staff was sparse which made it feel a bit like a ghost town. 」

「This was my first capsule hotel stay, and STATION INN THE URASHIMA in Onomichi exceeded my expectations. The location is excellent, right next to JR Onomichi Station, close to the port terminal for island trips, with plenty of dining options nearby and a large Lawson within walking distance. The hotel is on the second floor, with both an escalator and lift, making access easy even with luggage. Facilities are very clean and well maintained. Showers are hot and tidy, and complimentary...
