Great location in proximity to malls and KLCC. Nice pool Clean rooms and comfortable beds Amenities are lacking ( almost basic). Not much in terms of kitchen utensils. No hand towels provided. TV not showing free 2 air channels or any sports etc. Noise early in the morning disturbing sleep. Small touches are lacking. Laundry equipment is limited in the complex for the number of users.

Great location for exploring KL. Rooms are clean and comfortable. We had a double/twin for kids: Twin bed was in main bedroom so our double bed was in a literal box room. Pools and views are great. Breakfast took time to cook and limited.

Unfortunately we had a rather disappointing stay mainly due to the challenges with such long wait times for the lifts - we often had to wait 20+ mins - and noise throughout the night mainly from outside as the hotel is located in such a busy area. I had been concerned about the outside noise prior to booking and had requested a room on a higher level but this wasn't accommodated neither was the request that we have our combined group (which was over 3 rooms) to be on similar floors - made even more frustrating by the lift issue. Despite flagging a number of times prior to check-in there was no communication that as we had different room types they would be on different floors, which had we been made aware prior would have been helpful. The images of the view from the pool is also misleading if staying in the older tower as the view of the Petronas towers from the pool, the main reason for booking this property was completely blocked by the new tower.

Location wise is good, but room interior is old, swiming pool and gym is the same.

We stayed at the Kimpton in late July 2026. The staff were super friendly and helpful, which made the stay extra special. Our deluxe room was spacious and well-appointed, with an opulent bathroom, a great rain shower, and quality products.  The pool and gym area were quiet during our stay. The pool was nice and relaxing, and the gym was a great space to work out.  The hotel is well placed to TRX and nearby businesses, but we did find it wasn’t close to any main attractions and required a Grab or a long walk (Pavilion/KLCC), although an MRT is close by.  We recommended checking out the video by the Flipflop Traveller on YouTube, which we found perfectly highlighted the great points and the interesting points of the hotel (mainly location)
