Well-located hotel with well-appointed rooms just steps away from tour bus pick-up points and the nice Hlemmur Mathöll (food hall). This property offers a surprisingly complete breakfast buffet. But what set it appart this from the four others we used is the excellent front desk attendants, who were most helpful with directions, attractions, luggage storage and even other properties when we where stranded in Iceland for a week due to a strike at Air Canada.

NO air conditioner so windows had to be kept open and the hotel is in a very busy area. So noise was heard until late in the early mornng,
