Stretch Island Pet-friendly Vacations

The front desk is not consistently staffed. When we got there, no one was there and the phone number for after hours was not answering. When we were finally able to get ahold of someone, we find out our wheelchair accessible room was given away. We had parked in what we thought was the parking garage for the hotel, but the time it took to get ahold of someone, the garage had locked. So I was locked in the garage, my husband was locked out of the garage and we could not get out until 6:00am. Since our vehicle was locked in, we had to stay in the only room available, which was hot wheelchair friendly—I had to use the lobby restroom. And to top it off, the garage made us pay for “using” the garage! The manager and owner were apologetic and did refund our stay.

Interesting old hotel in a great location. The staff was 50/50 - front desk was great for check in, but the doorman/valet on the day we checked out was not helpful and seemed like he didn't really care about the guests. Guests were pulling cars up to the curb, Uber drivers were double parking in the street, City buses were blasting the horns at everyone.... The garbage can in the lobby by the complimentary water was overflowing with garbage on the floor. WiFi was really slow and spotty. But by far the biggest issue was the fact that the bathroom was extremely small. My legs were under the sink, that's how small it was. Very uncomfortable. I'm glad I tried it, but would not return.

Restrooms smelt terrible, no vent in there which caused it to smell like mold & same for the closet a very mildew smell to it. There was no fridge in the room which was very inconvenient as well as no microwave. Having to pay for valet parking at a ridiculous price because they can’t afford to give their guest free parking. Unfortunately the stay was so terrible that we plan to never go to Seattle again or stay at any of the Hilton hotels from now on.

The window shades were stuck except one.
