Cham Islands Pet-friendly Vacations

The hotel itself was quite nice and clean, and we likely would have given 4 or 5 stars except for the fact that the room described in our booking was not what we were given. We booked a two bedroom suite that was advertised as two bedrooms with private bathrooms, king beds, separate dining/living area with table and couch. What we received was a one bedroom suite where the couch had been removed and a queen bed put in its place. And the second 'ensuite' was more like a powder room with a small stand up shower that couldn't be used without flooding the whole bathroom. When we brought these discrepancies to the hotel we were told essentially you get what you get. And there was no effort to fix the unusable shower. Overall the hotel itself was fine, buffet breakfast was good and outside of the room issue the staff was very friendly but be aware that the photos online are intentionally deceiving and are advertised as much larger than reality.

the downside to the villas was the kitchen; there is no cooking pans to prepare a warm meal or microwave, the villas charge for renting a cooking pans/pots for daily use, which is unusual for a high-end villas resort. hopefully they will make an exemption in near the future for not charging customers for using pots and pans.

Here are the great things. The staff is attentive and they really care and that is nice. The Japanese spa is really lovely. I haven’t had an experience like that and it was very rejuvenating and wonderful and was complementary. The 410,thousand dong Credit was wonderful but please be aware that restaurant charges in this resort are not only the value at tax plus the owners have decided to include a 5 to 7% service charge as well which I understand is not always required but they do have it here. The property is in decent shape, but I do want to say that there needs to be some upgrades. The workout room has equipment that is quite old. The air conditioner is clunky and barely produces cool air, which is important in a tropical location when you’re working out. There is mold and old stuff in the window area in that room. There is also dripping water from the air-conditioning unit in my bedroom onto the desk, which wasn’t a big deal but there’s definitely maintenance that needs to happen on this property. It does not make it uninhabitable, but it definitely needs adjustment and upkeep and repaired. Some of the cushions in the common areas are slightly stained, but not terrible. The breakfast bar is wonderful and has over 49 different granola toppings. Beautiful selection of eggs and soups and salad, salads and coffee and juices and pastries and desserts and breads. Very, very good in the staff is really wonderful. I will definitely come back for the spa experience alone

Hands down amazing, staff out of this world, helpful polite, and could not accommodate us enough. We were even given a free upgrade to an executive suite as they did not have the twin beds ordered on the booking.

Absolutely loved my stay at Awaken! The hotel was beautiful, and our room had an incredible view of the beach. I especially loved the pool—it offered stunning views and was the perfect place to relax and cool off from the heat. The breakfast was amazing, with a huge selection of tropical fruits and plenty of delicious options. I also appreciated that the menu changed every day, which kept breakfast exciting throughout our stay. The location was another major highlight. The hotel has easy access to a quieter, less crowded beach, and there were several fantastic coffee shops just across the street. I highly recommend Awaken to anyone visiting Da Nang. I would definitely stay here again!
