Beautiful room that was clean and well organized. The bed were comfortable and the bath tub was splendid. The staff were very accommodating and attentive. The breakfast was also delicious, with a variety of options that rotated daily. The gym is also amazing with a yoga, tumbling, golf simulator and weights rooms. The location is perfect as it is close to the metro, pedestrian street and the bund. It is my go to hotel for whenever I am in Shanghai.

Great serviced apartment with everything required for family holiday stay. A quiet area with many shops and eateries within walking distance.

First, the good stuff. Excellent staff, most helpful with a late arrival due to a stranded connecting flight, and with a late checkout. Good food and drinks, and service to go with it. The not so good... The WiFi was hopeless. Virtually unable to connect to a speedy and/or reliable signal. Our own phone data was also hard use inside the hotel - but we would get multiple notifications as soon as we stepped outside. Bathroom... I get 'mood lighting' in the lounge room but why have it in the bathroom? I craved a bright light to shave, my wife the same for makeup etc. Also, having a sliding door on the toilet was a great idea but with no handle on the inside, it's difficult to open, especially in the middle of the night, particularly with jet lag and NO BRIGHT LIGHTS. We liked the hotel, a lot of the big things worked great, it's the silly little stuff that bothered us. We'd love to come back and stay again

Very nice hotel that upheld the Mariott standards. The hotel and rooms are very clean. It is in a very good location, across from the New World shopping center with plenty of shops and food options. It s also connected to a Luckin coffee and McDonalds that we frequented a lot for that morning coffee and late night snack. It is also a very short walk to the Nanjing pedestrian road (west side). The swimming pool is also very nice with a big hot tub. Staff was friendly and helpful, especially a lady by the name of Grace Song. She took care of us during our 1st leg stay in Shanghai with setting up wheelchairs for my parents. She gave us her WeChat and we were able to personally get through to her to help with logistics for our 2nd leg stay after visiting other cities. When we check in, the wheelchairs were already reserved for us. She also helped us get approval for free breakfast due to having to wait for some of the rooms to be available. She also helped us track down and deliver some forgotten items that were shipped from our previous hotel. She even went as far as helping us with some local currency deposit into our WeChat pay when our international credit cards didn't go through!
