There's also an on-site public onsen and a rooftop pool with a bar, which adds a nice touch. The highlight for me was the Western-style breakfast buffet, which offered an impressive variety of options, including tempura, curry, and local Oita dishes.

Excellent property with fantastic sea views. Very co-ordial staff and helpful. Overall we had a fantastic stay at the resort. The maisonnette where we stayed at, had breathtaking views of the Beppu bay especially during sunrise. It also had private onsens which were very well maintained giving us a great way to experience onsens! Having said that, I do think that having cold milk vending machines would definitely add to the onsens experience.

An absolute perfect stay from the room itself to the astonishing service standards in the hotel as well as the meals we had in the hotel. It is hard to describe in words how good the experience had been. Would given it a 6 stars if possible.
