Room was clean. Staff was courteous and always ready to help. Gym is also surprisingly well equipped. The free self-service laundry room was also very helpful if you are going for a long stay (i stayed with my wife and kid for 7 days). The breakfast can be too repetitive though.

Second visit in a month. Booked 3 rooms both times. The Gulangyu view rooms are spacious and have good view of the island. Location is convenient. The experience of our last visit was better than this one. Check-in staff was less friendly and lack of pleasantness during the whole process. Breakfast was crowded with long wait to enter as the hotel was quite full during the Christmas holidays.
