The room was really nice. We had a great day.

Was disappointed this go round…my room was dirty when I checked in…there was a water bottle in the room the whole duration of my stay, the sinks in the bathroom were clogged the whole time I told the manager they offered to send someone up to fix the sinks that never happen & they offered a food credit for the inconvenience but by that time I was over the trip so we let early ….oh the crazy part about it we told them the fridge was out as well they replaced that but no fixing of the sinks

Overall, our stay at the Palazzo was "ok", but there were several aspects of the experience that were disappointing. My biggest concern was the substantial incidental hold placed on our debit card at check-in. This was not explained to us at check-in. We stayed five nights, and the Palazzo placed a $750 hold ($150 per night) on our card. We don't charge purchases to our room, so having that amount of our available funds tied up for the duration of our stay was inconvenient. Ironically, we were forced to charge purchases to the room this trip since what little available funds we had left were for expenses outside the Palazzo. We also experienced a complete water outage for more than an hour during our stay. Unfortunately, this occurred while we were getting ready for a 2:00 p.m. show at the Sphere. I was in the middle of a shower when the water stopped and had to rinse the soap off using bottled water we happened to have in the room. While I understand unexpected issues can occur, this was a significant inconvenience, especially at a luxury resort.

We were charged a fee out of the blue for "violating their no-smoking policy" in the room. They sent us a voicemail to notify us of the fee. We called back and told them that we don't smoke and never have ever smoked, so there's no way we could have violated the policy. They said that we "may or may not be lying" and that people lie to them all the time about it. I was pissed. I offered them to come to our room immediately and do an investigation and prove to us that we were smoking in the room. They declined and said they would "waive the fee as a courtesy" to us. Haha, what a joke. As soon as we called them out and asked them to prove it to us, then they backed down. Totally rude and disrespectful staff. Actually it's unethical to charge us a fee with zero proof we were smoking. We actually think it was a fresh pizza that we bought at Grimaldi's and brought back to the room to eat that may have triggered the sensor? Either way they had no interest in actually doing an investigation but were very quick to charge us the fee. Terrible staff and management. Other than that the hotel is nice and is a good location.
