The room 80503 was very noisy feeling like Melbourne F1 Grand Prix, but I was told it was windy. I asked for changing my room, reception answered that other rooms weren’t available (It’s after 2:00pm) I couldn’t sleep at night, asking reception for a quiet room. He found a room 80517 which was less noisy than 80503. Unfortunately it was a smoking room. I had no choice but staying in the room. I was very frustrated. I am here asking you hotels.com what room did you book for me? Please see attached pictures.

Location is good as it is near to Zhongshan pedestrain street and many local food.
Newly furbished hotel. But sound proof is poor! You can hear ppl next door snoring! Omg!
The bed and pillows are a NO NO. Stayed at many hotels in many provinces/cities in China, this is the worst rated for me due to this reason. Tough pillows!

Tip- upgrade to Fairmont Gold room to access lounge for Afternoon tea and Evening Hor Dourves. There’s no need to eat anywhere else. Excellent breakfast on top floor of the hotel. Much to my surprise, they have Le Labo Rose 31 toiletries
