Excellent staff who show genuine concern for their guests

Stayed here for 4 nights- two couples in two kitchenette suites. Location is great- close to a lot of shopping and trains. Staff were friendly. Pool was nice. Plumbing was unacceptable- kitchenette faucet barely worked and bath faucet was not useful for much other than brushing teeth. Shower was ok but old step-in tub style. The A/C did not work well when we arrived, however they did get that working on day 2. We would probably not stay there again unless it was all we could afford.

From the moment we arrived, the staff consistently delivered exceptional hospitality. Everyone was warm, genuinely friendly, incredibly helpful, and attentive to even the smallest details. Their welcoming attitude and willingness to assist made our stay feel effortless and truly enjoyable. We had the pleasure of staying on one of the newly renovated floors, and the experience was beautiful. The refreshed design feels modern, elegant, and thoughtfully considered, with a wonderful ambience that makes the space feel both sophisticated and comfortable. It was especially exciting to experience the newest renovation firsthand, and we appreciated the attention to detail throughout. We did miss our regular breakfast area, which has always been one of the highlights of our stays, but we completely understand that it is currently under construction as part of the ongoing improvements. We look forward to seeing the finished result on our next visit. The pool was exceptionally clean and well maintained, making it a lovely place to relax and unwind. Overall, the combination of the beautiful new renovation, consistently attentive service, cleanliness, and genuinely welcoming staff made this another memorable stay. Nice location, nice hotel overall. Unfortunately issues with noise and strong weed smell coming from next door rooms made impossible to sleep, lot of movement across rooms during the nights and situations that you’d rather avoid in a Sofitel group hotel. Staff didn’t handle that properly.
