I didn’t use their breakfast buffet as the hotel was right next to the morning fish market. Updating to the experience of having to pay extra for “pay on the spot”. They had no room on Expedia at the time I booked so I chose single room option (12800yen). Few days prior to my arrival Expedia showed twin room option at 14716yen so when I checked in I was confident that I’ll have a room. For some reason they charged me 12500yen to upgrade to twin room (total amount 25300yen, instead of 14716yen) I paid as I was asked but thought it was bizarre and negotiated. They admitted their fault and changed my upgrade fee to 8,800yen. So, in total I paid 21300yen for what was advertised as 14716yen. Once again, I’ll repeat, don’t choose “pay on the spot” option or ask for an upgrade. I’d rather gone out for a nice meal… Thank you Mr Umezawa for trying to modify things but I’d rather share my honest experience. Hotel is clean, convenient and staff were kind. However if I had an option to come to Hakodate again, I’ll chose a different place to stay.

It doesn’t have LAN access. TV is neither Android nor Smart. Limited choice of amenities. There’s no microwave and ice machine in public area.

Staff were amazing, and the room was great! Loved the Onsen it was very refreshing!

Professional staffs and well managed property

Staff were amazing, so attentive and easy to talk to. Room was beautiful, loved the bathroom & the tub - 10/10 we loved it all

Hotel was average (typical hard beds and dated decor) but great ski in-out location with connection to adjacent Kagura/Tashiro resort. The view from the Dragondola is stunning and snow quality good. Good food court, restaurants and variety of shops within the resort makeup for the lack of any sign of vibrancy or convenience stores in the village. Everything was reasonably priced. The onsen baths are very basic and have a small capacity given the huge resort complex. Hotel staff were fantastic.

Great staff - very helpful and always available. Room was nice, very 'showa' feel with Tatami mats and adornments. The Onsen bath, particularly the external new Sauna (from Estonia!) and Rotenburo, were quite pleasant. The buffet is designed for tour groups, but tasty selection! Would stay again if had chance b/c very close to everything and perfect facilities for skiing trip.
