The apartments were spacious and comfortable with homely amenities like a kitchen and washing machine which was great after a week of travelling. Great place for families.

Would stay again had a lot of fun and it was away from the craziness for the bigger cities

Hotel had all amenities and was convenient for the end of our trip being close to the airport. We were able to do laundry in the room which was helpful.

If you are looking for tranquility in the middle of a big city, this hotel is for you! The staff were so helpful and friendly and the gardens on the property were incredible. Beds are smaller and harder than expected but we made them work. The only other thing that I didn’t care for was having to pay to use the pool. That was strange…so we only went one time, which was a bummer.

This hotel is really incredible - the staff is lovely, the rooms are big and comfortable and the grounds are just gorgeous and peaceful. I was devastated to only be there one night but it was awesome nonetheless

I liked that it was very close to a rail station with two popular local JR lines. The staff was very helpful. They held our excess bags for us.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel New Grand Yokohama. The view from our room was absolutely breathtaking, and the location was perfect—within easy walking distance of both Yokohama Chinatown and Motomachi. This was a special birthday trip for my elderly mother, and we were deeply touched when the staff member who escorted us to our room wished her a happy birthday. That thoughtful gesture made our stay even more memorable. The traditional Japanese breakfast was exceptional, with outstanding quality and attention to detail. What impressed us most was how well the entire hotel is maintained. It was clear that everyone—from the maintenance team to the hospitality staff—takes great pride in caring for this beautiful historic hotel. Thank you for making our stay so special. We would be delighted to return on our next visit to Yokohama.
