Clean and comfortable but not many staff to assist

The room is spacious and clean. The only problem is the bathroom. Its old and needs a TLC. The shower makes the floor flooded and the granite needs repair or replaced entirely.

The hotel staff was attentive and helpful.

The room always matter and they did not disappoint! I absolutely love Shilla. I stayed at two different locations in Seoul. I definitely recommend this stay. If and when I go back I’ll be staying here!

The location was good and breakfast options very good except coffee. The hotel staff were helpful, especially Cindy who resolved an issue we had with a Family room.

The staff are excellent. They were so quick to help us with our bags and were so polite. Hotel room was spacious and everything looked modern. The reason for 3 stars: 1. Our bathroom drain smelled so there was an unpleasant sewer like odor the whole time. I called to get it cleaned but never heard back and it may be something the staff could not address. 2. Soundproofing is not good. You can hear door slams and kids in corridors. Our neighbor happened to be very loud and to the hotel’s credit, the hotel staff got them to quieten down. But it was not a pleasant experience. 3. Though the hotel is new, some areas were obviously not built to quality. The drain smell is one and the other is loose fixtures. It’s never nice to wake up to your phone not fully charged because the outlet was loose. It didn’t really feel truly 5 Star so if you book, you may have to temper your expectations.

Overall our stay was okay. However, I noticed that there were so many things scattered around especially the hallways that I find unsafe in an event of an emergency.

Room is a tad stuffy but it’s up to whether your other roommates want ventilation. Other than that it’s alright
