The property is clean and convenient but the rooms are quite small. The bunk beds are not comfortable so the room is not suitable for 4 people. The front staff is really nice and cooperative. The facilities are quite basic though for the price

Great hotel! the rooms were so clean, the staff were very friendly. The location was conveniently close to UENO train station and the train that takes you directly to Narita Airport. Would 100% return to this hotel if I’m ever back in Tokyo.

The hotel was easy to find and very close to the train station and convenient stores. The deluxe Japanese room is spacious even for 4-6 adults, clean and modern, same for the furniture fixtures; shower and toilet rooms were just as spacious and clean. Amenities are more than we needed; laundry machine had easy instructions. Front desk staff was INCREDIBLY helpful and so polite. The deck was a bonus, although the train tracks were right across the street, the view is still just as wonderful. Really enjoyed this property and would return again. Highly recommend to stay here.

Property was lovely and clean. Breakfast had a great selection. The club lounge was comfortable with delicious snacks and a good selection of drinks. The view from our room was awesome. Would highly recommend staying here.

The hotel garden is beautiful; it was a very pleasant start to our overall experience in Japan. Walking in the morning through this garden is a great way to start the day, as it was very quiet with few people. Hotel look more like an "old" luxury resort, Victorian / regal style decoration (you can tell it has been here a while) but remains in good condition. Room (and bathroom) were far more spacious than the other hotels we stayed in Japan. Breakfast was the best hotel breakfast we had in Japan. The Pancakes were phenomenal.

Everything about this hotel was absolutely amazing. From the moment I arrived, the staff provided excellent customer service, they were welcoming, attentive, and truly made me feel taken care of throughout my entire stay. The food was incredible. I highly recommend including the breakfast option because it was delicious and such a great way to start the day. Dinner was just as amazing, with high-quality dishes that exceeded my expectations. One of the highlights was definitely the onsen experience—it was so relaxing and beautifully maintained. All of the amenities were top-tier, clean, and thoughtfully designed to make the stay as comfortable as possible. Overall, this is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience.

Beautiful new hotel, although space is still tight, it is well thought out and beautifully designed. There is slight road noise coming through the windows though, so sound proofing could have been better. Overall, recommended!

as a british traveler, it was a challenge to face the language barrier however the staff at slash did a great job at fulfilling any requests. great rooms, great service, amazing breakfast!! if anyone i know plans a japan trip, i will recommend this hotel
