Lower Hudson Valley Pet-friendly Vacations

So delightful. Staff is friendly, lots of amenities, and ideally located. My only note is that more than two elevators should be operational. Otherwise 👌

Location was good, hotel was clean, most staff was nice and helpful, bed was comfortable, luggage hold was helpful when needed. Room was smaller than depicted in the photos. Read the fine print, in terms of extra fees. Breakfast is not included, just offered for an additional fee.

Toilet bowl was dirty. Water was turned off for 5 hours on our second day, air conditioner was old and not working properly. The staff was very helpful, but owners should invest in it, ideal location to stay in NYC.

The Hotel Edison is in a great location right next to Times Square and surrounded by Broadway theaters. The hotel itself is clean and sufficient - the rooms are just like most in NYC - small - but we'll laid out. Unfortunately our room was right behind the elevators so it was a little noisy, though we were exhausted every night and able to sleep soundly. The staff is polite but the front desk folks were a bit overworked and stressed. The included breakfast was convenient - I recommend going to Carve for the grab and go option - they had the best options. We had a nice dinner at Bond45 during our stay and the wait staff were great, but those handing out the breakfast clearly did not want to be there. The Rum House was great - creative drinks and we really enjoyed the jazz. The doorman was so kind and helpful - he was our favorite. Overall, a solid choice in a great location.

Comfortable bed, shower head was a little wonky, and no restaurant open while we were there.

Breakfast is really nice. Close by everywhere. Love it.

Super spa - got a great facial, and the steam room was high quality (fast to warm up, good steam). Very friendly and helpful staff including concierge and doormen

Hotel hits all the 5 star spots apart from 2 points. 1 - the rooms are not soundproof at all, and being able to hear the conversations in the room next door so clear that i could repeat what they were saying is not what i would expect. Second - the front desk staff are not as polished and committed to the level of service i would expect from a top end 5 star hotel. Doormen were top class. All in all it's a good hotel, but with so much choice in NY, i have stayed in better.
