Hollyburn Country Club Mountain Vacations

This was a return to the hotel. I work with organisations and their culture and developing leaders that develop the right culture… Hospitality industry is notorious for being dysfunctional. Even after four months to arrive and see many of the same people and all of the areas of the hotel tells me a lot. Good for you. The one that I know you’re still working out is serving outside or particular needs. At the moment there is no room service – I get it you can only work on so many things at a time. You are very gracious and allowing people to bring their pets and as we are in the midst of a move in our dog arrived a couple of days after I did, it was great to be able to be in such a great hotel and have him with me as such international travel for a dog is very stressful. The challenge it provided though, was what to do about food. I had to take him with me and leave the hotel because he was not allowed in the restaurant, and I could not get room service. The desk was working to try to make it possible for me to sit outside, if I phoned in and ordered it and explain the situation. That works in the summer… It doesn’t work in a lot of the year though. I don’t know the solutions and won’t try to tell you how to run your hotel, it was just one small thing I had to work through When I would’ve loved to have gone downstairs and enjoy the restaurant again .

This was probably the most beautiful hotel I have stayed at. The staff was incredible, it was super clean and eco-friendly, close to restaurants and shopping. The room had a nice layout. I would stay here 100 times over.

Thought the boutique hotel would have offered a cool vibe. It is wedged into the side of a commercial building. Our room looked into a brick wall 4 feet from our window, making the room dark. The bathroom sink/counter was very small. There was no restaurant on the premises and only a Nepresso machine for coffe.

Liked the Asian paintings at the property in particular.

LOVED this hotel & the full experience :’) staff were soooo very friendly and helpful, room & amenities were immaculate, and good downtown location!

Everything was fabulous. Dinner at Victor was amazing.

Location was excellent, close to all the theaters. The property has seen better days lots of nicks and worn bits but everything functioned as it should. The staff was great check-in was a breeze.

Truly a wonderful experience and weekend. Best of the best.
