Staff were very attentive. Initial issue with room being a twin and not a double was corrected immediately and a broken shower bracket was fixed the same day. Rooms are clean and basic. Beds are comfortable. No aircon and hence having windows open led to a lot of service noise in the early hours. Rooms have been aesthetically upgraded. Bathrooms are tired but functional. Location of the hotel was amazing.
Only major potential issues was lack of request for ID when getting additional room key. This could be a concern for personal safety of solo travellers and if you leave valuables in room as there is no safe.
